Thank you from the bottom of my heart to those who have generously donated to support my Out of Darkness Overnight Walk to raise money and awareness for suicide prevention. When I began, I had no idea how easy or hard it would be to raise the minimum $1,000 required to participate. Thanks to great generosity, I raised that amount quickly. I have now met my second goal and have raised my goal again. I would like to raise as much money as I can for this important cause. I would love to raise my goal again and again. This cause is both important to communities and close to my heart. My original message is included below. Any support, no matter how small, will help the cause and be deeply appreciated.  Thanks and much gratitude, Richard

This June 28-29, I will be participating in the Out of Darkness Overnight Walk in Philadelphia, an event sponsored by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Please support me as I take an amazing journey. The Out of the Darkness Overnight Experience is a 16-18 mile walk over the course of one night. Net proceeds benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, funding research, advocacy, survivor support, education, and awareness programs – both to prevent suicide and to assist those affected by suicide. I have a commitment to raise $1,000. Any donation, however large or small, will help me towards my goal and be deeply appreciated. More importantly, donations will help prevent tragedy. Suicide has had a profound effect on my life and on the lives of many people I care about. Please help me fight it.  You may share this page and information as widely as you like. Thanks and much gratitude, Richard
